OrionLab is an Algerian pharmaceutical company founded in 2018 in Oran by three brothers sharing a single vision : to reduce dependency on imports and guarantee patient access to innovative therapies. MANUFACTURING SITE
Located in the Hassi Ameur industrial zone (Oran), our 5,000 m² GMP-compliant facility spans six operational levels. The site integrates all steps of the pharmaceutical manufacturing chain, from raw materials to final packaging, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.

ORAL SOLID DOSAGE UNIT
Our OSD line is designed to deliver high-performance and flexible production, covering a wide range of high-potency oncology medicines. Operations are performed under strict containment conditions to ensure both product quality and operator safety.

The sterile injectable unit allows us to manufacture high-quality, aseptically filled products, including biosimilars, making OrionLab a pioneer in Algeria. Our facility is equipped to handle both small and large batches under strict GMP conditions.

STERILE INJECTABLE UNIT
QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY
Our QC laboratory is fully equipped to support every stage of production with robust analytical capabilities. Operating under GMP standards, it ensures the quality, safety, and consistency of all products.

OUR VISION
La zone de production OSD s’étend sur une surface de 1200 m2 est constituée de deux ligne de granulation :
- Petits volumes : pour la réalisation de lots de 3 à 10 litres.
- Grands volumes : pour la réalisation de lots de 15 à 160 litres.
Les bonnes pratiques de production actuelles exigent de plus en plus un confinement total au cours du procédé, pour la protection à la fois des opérateurs et de l’environnement. Les systèmes de procédé intégré offrent non seulement un confinement, mais ils assurent également une productivité accrue via une automatisation, un rendement supérieur et des procédures de nettoyage efficaces. Ainsi, tout le processus de fabrication est réalisé sous haut confinement via l’utilisation d’un isolateur, d’une ligne de granulation complète avec BIN et valves spécifiques, des extracteurs de poudre confinés…et le nettoyage est automatique grâce au CIP (cleaning in place).
La zone injectable, dont la capacité annuelle dépasse les 2 millions d’unités en 1 shift, s’étend sur une superficie de 900 m2 répartie en deux salles de fabrication et de conditionnement primaire. La formulation sera réalisée en utilisant un système à usage unique (single-use) ne nécessitant pas de validation de nettoyage et minimise le temps de passage à un autre produit. Les tailles de lots s’étendent de 20 à 2 000 litres. Après la formulation, la ligne de fabrication comprend :
- Laveuse de flacons allant de 2 à 100ml suivi d’un tunnel de stérisilation.
- Ligne de remplissage de flacons sous isolateur avec IPC 100% et ROD (Redosing On Demand).
- Lyophilisateur : de 9m2 avec système de chargement/déchargement automatique.
- Sertisseuse de flacons : avec caméra de contrôle de l’opercule.
- Laveuse pour décontamination externe des flacons.
Les stoppers, caps et autres ustensiles nécessaires au remplissage sont stérilisés à la vapeur dans un autoclave à double portes. L’autoclave est également utilisé pour stériliser les produits nécessitant une stérilisation post remplissage. Enfin, les flacons sont inspectés visuellement à 100% . Les flacons sans défaut sont étiquetés, emballés et envoyés au magasin de produits finis.
LABORATOIRE DE CONTRÔLE QUALITÉ
Le laboratoire de contrôle qualité s’étend sur une superficie de 570m2 dont 178 m2 dédiés pour le laboratoire microbiologique. Une équipe pluridisciplinaire formée d’ingénieurs, Pharmacien & Techniciens sont recrutés pour assurer le contrôle analytique des matières-premières, produits semi-finis et produits finis.
Le laboratoire dispose d’outils de contrôle adaptés permettant de valider les étapes de faisabilité et d’optimiser les paramètres de production mais aussi pour le contrôle des produits en cours de production (tests de dissolution, désagrégation, uniformité de masse, dureté, friabilité, mesure LOD;…). Les études de stabilité sont réalisées, en interne, selon les normes ICH. Le laboratoire, accrédité par le LNCPP, assurera les contrôles en interne ainsi que des prestations de services pour des partenaires pour les analyses suivantes :
