CINNOVEX is indicated for the treatment of :

Patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS).

In clinical trials, this was characterized by two or more relapses within the previous three years without evidence of continuous progression between relapses. Interferon beta-1a slows the progression of disability and reduces the frequency of relapses.

Patients who have experienced a single demyelinating event, accompanied by an active inflammatory process, if it is sufficiently severe to require treatment with intravenous corticosteroids, provided that possible differential diagnoses have been excluded and these patients are considered to be at high risk of developing clinically definite multiple sclerosis.
